WE KEEP MOVING FORWARD / SEGUIMOS AVANZANDO

This month we don't have a specific story or message. We have to tell you all several things that have happened. First, we finished the first of four courses that we have to take in Theology! This was the longest of the four and we learned a lot. Aemilii and I took it at the same time and it was really nice doing the assignments together. Despite this, my final grade was higher than Aemilii's… I won! Just kidding! We have already started our second course, which is from the Old Testament, those who know me know that I love history, so I am happy to take the course.

Aemilii is giving tutoring to several children. This has given us the opportunity to keep finances as they were before her work contract was suspended due to the pandemic. But at the same time she now has more time to focus on the ministry. Glory to God!

Speaking of ministry, this month we have had many meetings with people to be part of our ministry. Between the people who are already supporting us and those who have told us that they want to support us, there have been more than 40 families in total who want to support us! We are very happy and grateful to God for this. Right now, the Mongolian ministry is no longer just 2 people, it is around 100 people. If we count all the family members of these 40 families. We still have room for many more. In all this we ask that you continue to pray with us, because some of the new transactions have failed to be processed . We have had this problem specifically with people in Costa Rica, since our giving system is based in the United States. There is a communication problem between banks here and banks there. We hope to find a solution to this problem soon with the Lord help.

I also wanted to tell you that I recently started a discipleship with Rodrigo our pastor. Some time ago, I asked him to teach me to give sermons, since I have always liked it and it will be very useful to us in Mongolia.

Finally, we have no news on our short trip planned to Mongolia yet. The borders to Mongolia are still closed and there is no news of when they will open. Winter is approaching and it becomes more complicated for us to go at this time. It is very likely that we cannot go until next year, so we ask you to continue praying for this.

Este mes no tenemos una historia específica o un mensaje. Tenemos que contarles varias cosas que han pasado. Primero ya terminamos el primer de cuatro cursos que tenemos que llevar de Teología, este era el más largo de los cuatro y aprendimos un montón. Lo llevamos al mismo tiempo y fue muy bonito hacer las tareas juntos. A pesar de esto mi nota final fue más alta que la de Aemilii… ¡Gané!. Ya empezamos nuestro segundo curso, que es del Antiguo Testamento, los que me conocen saben que me encanta la historia, entonces estoy feliz de llevar el curso.

Aemilii está dando varias tutorías a varios niños, esto nos ha dado la oportunidad de mantener las finanzas como estaban antes de que le suspendieran el contrato por la pandemia. Pero a la vez ahora tiene más tiempo para enfocarse en el ministerio.

Hablando de ministerio, este mes hemos tenido muchas reuniones con personas para que sean parte de nuestro ministerio. Entre las personas que nos están apoyando ya y las que nos han dicho que si quieren apoyarnos, han sido más de 40 familias. Estamos muy felices y agradecidos con Dios por esto. Que ahorita el ministerio de Mongolia ya no es solo de 2 personas, es de alrededor de 100 personas si contamos todos los miembros de las familias. Todavía tenemos espacio para muchos más. En todo esto les pedimos que sigan orando con nosotros, porque a algunas personas les ha fallado el sistema para aportar al ministerio. Hemos tenido este problema específicamente con personas en Costa Rica, ya que el sistema está en Estados Unidos. Y hay un problema de comunicación de unos bancos de aquí con bancos de allá. Esperamos encontrar una solución a este problema pronto.

También quería contarles que hace poco empecé un discipulado con Rodrigo nuestro pastor, hace un tiempo le pedí que me enseñara a enseñar, ya que siempre me ha gustado y nos será muy útil en Mongolia.

Finalmente, no tenemos noticias nuevas de Mongolia ni de nuestro viaje que teníamos planeado este año, las fronteras a Mongolia siguen cerradas y no hay noticias de cuándo las van a abrir. El invierno se acerca y se complica más que vayamos en esta época, es muy probable que podamos ir hasta el próximo año, les pedimos que sigan orando por esto.
