Gracia y paz para ti desde nuestro hogar hasta el tuyo. Mientras me siento en mi sofá digo una oración de agradecimiento por poder escribirle y por su disposición a leer nuestro boletín. Sé que hay mucho que ver en estos días en las redes sociales o en los correos electrónicos. Queremos tomarnos el tiempo para enviarle una actualización rápida sobre cómo nos está yendo durante estos días de cuarentena mientras seguimos el liderazgo de Dios sobre cómo guiar nuestro ministerio en Mongolia.

Aunque durante esta cuarentena, yo Aemilii, me he preguntado muchas veces qué es la realidad, tengo la certeza de que seguimos manteniendo una fuerte pasión por nuestro ministerio en Mongolia. Somos fieles al llamado que el Señor nos ha llamado a ser parte de la gran comisión en Su mundo. Esperamos con fe los planes que el Señor tiene para nosotros. Me inspira Lillian Trasher, que audazmente siguió el llamado de Dios a Egipto, aunque su causa parecía muy lejana. Era una mujer soltera a principios del siglo XIX que escuchó el llamado a mudarse a África como misionera y partió sin dinero a su nombre y terminó construyendo un orfanato en Egipto. El gobierno de Mongolia ha dicho que tendrán restricciones estrictas hasta que haya una vacuna. En este momento requieren una cuarentena de 3 semanas en un hospital antes de poder estar en el país. Siento que solo estamos en los primeros capítulos de la historia que Dios ha escrito para nosotros en Mongolia mientras esperamos en esta etapa. Estamos listos para ver lo que Dios hará con nuestras manos y pies. He estado leyendo muchas biografías de misioneros y sé que no es casualidad que Dios continúe guiándome a aprender sobre las historias de misioneros de gran fe en la providencia de Dios. Entonces, esperamos pacientemente el tiempo de Dios pero avanzamos con valentía. Ser paciente no ha sido lo más fácil. Hay muchos días que siento que puedo hacer más y días que siento que hay mucho por hacer. Hemos estado trabajando duro en nuestros cursos bíblicos y estamos a la mitad del curso métodos de estudio bíblico y esperamos con ansias el curso del antiguo testamento.

Grace and peace to you from our home to yours. As I sit on my couch I whisper a prayer of thanks to be able to write to you and for your willingness to read our newsletter. I know there is a lot to see these days on social media or emails. We want to take the time to send you a quick update on how we are doing during these days of quarantine while we follow God’s lead on how to guide our ministry in Mongolia.

Though during this quarantine I, Aemilii, have asked myself many times what is reality, I have certainty that we continue to maintain a strong passion for our ministry to Mongolia. We are faithful to the call the Lord has called us to be part of the great commission in His world. We look forward with faith to the plans the Lord has for us. I am inspired by Lillian Trasher who boldly followed God’s call to Egypt though her cause seemed far off. She was a single woman in the turn of the 19th century who heard the call to move to Africa as a missionary and set off with no money to her name and ended up building an orphanage in Egypt. Right now, Mongolian government expressed they will have strict restrictions until there is a vaccine. Right now they require a 3 week quarantine in a hospital until you are free to go. I feel we are only in the first few chapters of the story God has written for us in Mongolia as we wait in this stage. We are ready to see what God will do with our hands and feet. I have been reading many biographies of missionaries and I know it is no coincidence that God continues to lead me to learn about the stories of missionaries of great faith in God’s providence. So, we wait patiently for God’s timing but move boldly forward. Being patient has not been the easiest thing. There are many days I feel I can be doing more and days I feel there is so much to do. We have been working hard on our bible courses and are half way through the methods of bible study course and looking forward to the old testament course.
